Summary: A catchall for the good doctor
The Story: It had actually been a pretty quiet round of madness. Probably because everyone had been too angry and twisted-up to actually go hunting for medical help, but in a guilty way, part of Maxine prefers that. She doesn't want to think of how she'd be feeling right now if she'd been too caught up in whatever that was to even do her job.
With the tension seeping out of the air, she's out and about the mansion again, making her usual rounds between the library, the dining room, and her own room. She's still to be found in the clinic, of course. And a few times a day, if she's nowhere else to be found, she's probably smoking on the roof.
On the days she roams enough, settles into the brightest old habits, the cabin fever settles down a little. She just tries not to think of what it'll feel like the moment there isn't a recent crisis to compare it to.
