02 ❆

Who: Arya and OPEN
Where: The corridors of the mansion, then Arya's room
When: March 8
Rating: G, will update if needed
Summary: Arya disposes of too many swords, then chills in her blanket fort
The Story:

a) Corridors

It's far more likely that Arya will be heard before she's seen; a metallic clank echoes down the hallways announcing her presence. She walks slowly, trying not to overbalance, her arms bundled full of swords of all different shapes and sizes. She's clearly struggling with the weight of them but keeps going nonetheless, looking down at them as though irritated with their presence, and looking more than a little daunted with the prospect of having to drag them downstairs, though what she's ultimately going to do with them she's not sure.

b) Arya's Room

She keeps her door open today, proud of her handiwork and wanting to show it off. Her communications device is next to her, discarded in disinterest, and she's sat cross legged in the middle of the pile of blankets, turning over a coin in her hands, almost entranced by it, though she quickly shoves it into her pocket when she hears anyone approach, scared that it might be taken from her when she's only just got it back.

"Yeah, that part definitely sucks. But it's also kind of like where I'm from. I mean, magic, and stuff. Does your world have anything like that?" he asks casually. "I never left my home town for eleven years."

"Me too," Henry. "But it kind of seems like even when I do go back, something happens and I have to leave again. When magic is used all the time nothing's ever really quiet for very long. Six weeks, I think, is the longest we've ever gone without something happening. Usually it's less time than that, though."

Looking at all of her swords again, he has an idea. "I think we could take those to the gym, and people could use them if you really don't want to keep any of them."

"Who's Jim?" Henry asks, blinking in confusion. But then it clicks and he realizes. "Ohhh, wait. Okay, so Jim is a name, but there's also a place called 'the gym.' And it's spelled g-y-m. It's where people can go to exercise or practice different weapons. So, the swords might help people who want to learn or keep up their skills."

"Hey, no big deal. Most of my family is from a world that I'm guessing is more like yours. But I was born in a more modern world, with all the lights and communicating devices and stuff."

Teaching Robin and Killian things is pretty much the highlight of his life.

"I can always help with stuff if you want. I know both worlds." And maybe it would hopefully gain him a friend.

"Don't worry. I know what it's like to feel kind of lost in a new world. I like helping," he says with a smile and a shrug. Plus, if you ever do get a sword you at least want to practice with, maybe we can practice together."

That actually makes him grin. "I definitely like trying to win and then being beat by a girl who's really good at this," he says, not at all backing down, but also not bothered by anyone at all being better at this than he is, even a girl. There are some pretty awesome ladies in his family who can do a lot of damage with swords, after all.
