+ FOURTH WALL EVENT: GENERAL NON-PARTY MINGLE POST +

Who: E V E R Y O N E
Where: Everywhere that isn't one of the parties! Both Sides!
When: Sept 1st to Sept 10th
Rating: G to PG-13 (please label higher ratings, thank you!)
Summary: Wonderful parties are springing up all across Wonderland, but there are still plenty of other places to explore. This is a log for any new arrivals who want to experience different parts of Wonderland life, and any current guests not in the mood for a log or transmission of their own.

Please also see THE FOURTH WALL MASTER POST for rules, information, and all the fun parties you can visit!
The Story:

On the morning of September 1st, everyone in Wonderland, on both Real and Mirror Side, will awake to find one of four possible invitations has been shoved under their doors. The glass has been carefully removed from all mirrors, and everyone will be able to cross to and from Mirror Side with ease, without forcing any sort of swap. The Queen of Hearts' chambers, discovered in the previous event, will be mysteriously inaccessible, leading only to a tearoom.

Additionally, there will be many more Wonderland guests than usual, each of them with their own random invitation and network device (wired to make replies only). As the week goes on, as per the invitations, more and more parties will appear (and everyone is invited to all of them, whether they received an invitation or not). But who brought them here? Why are there so many parties? Who is responsible for all of this exactly?

It's anyone's guess, though if parties or riddles are not your style, then there is always plenty more to see...

[ Good thing she's stopped, really. Running is the worst idea she could have when it comes to Bruce, who is so much less like his Real counterpart and so much more like a wild animal. When his prey turns around and starts running, it's his instinct to chase after them— and that's what he'd do with Caitlin, right here and now.

Wonderland's a free-for-all now; he doesn't have some Queen telling him what he can't do, and he's sure as hell going to enjoy every last bit of freedom he gets. ]

Sane? Oh, but haven't you heard, Caitlin? We're all mad here.

Yeah, I read the book. You don't really look like the Cheshire Cat, though.

[ The minute she says it, she regrets it. It's the belated realization that Caitlin has just invited him to keep giving her that smile that made her want to run in the first place. The one that made the hair on the back of her neck stand up and a cold hard lump settle in her stomach. She shuffles back another step or two, wanting to put more distance between them. ]

And I'm sure the cat would look sober as a judge next to you.

No? Shame. I thought I had the grin down pat.

[ His smile stretches thin, and he lifts his shoulders in a shrug. When she takes a step back, he takes a step forward, though his is larger by the simple fact that his legs are longer than hers. ]

At least I take comfort in the fact I'm nowhere near as mad as either of the queens.

[ Or is he. ]

I'm not sure you could really call that a fact.

[ That smile, coupled with his closing the distance between them, is fast wearing away any resolve she has left. The cracks in her shaky calm are widening into gaps, evidenced as she keeps moving backward. ]

There's nothing factual about psychology. Sure, there are symptoms, but on the whole, it's largely subjective. Besides, should you really insult the queens? Won't they want your head?
