A large mourning dove peers curiously at the lasagne. He's heard of the dish, but this is his first time seeing it.

Aside from his unusual size, the only strange thing about him is that his plumage is more suitable for summer than for winter.

The large mourning dove is only a surprise for a moment; her life is filled with speedsters and multiple Earths and metahumans, so she's kind of used to the weird and unusual. She offers him a friendly smile. "Would you like to try some? I might have gotten a little carried away with the cooking."

Can unusually sized mourning doves eat lasagne? She doesn't know, but she's going to find out. There's a lot of food and she wants to share it.

"I would. Thanks." He fetches himself a plate, helps himself to a small piece, then finds a seat. "Are you going to eat?"

Oh. Yeah. I... yeah." She hadn't, but it would be rude, and she could probably eat, so Jesse fixes herself a little plate. Then she sits down next to her feathered dining companion. "I'm Jesse. Jesse Wells."

"It's nice to meet you. I'm Nageki Fujishiro." He takes a small bite of the lasagne.
