[Open/Event] The Mona who slayed the snow

Who: Morgana, the rest of the Phantom Thieves and anyone who wants to cozy up to a warm cat in the winter
Where: Day 1: On the way to the lodge/catbus edition, Day 2: building snowcats and post-snowball fight, and Day 3: Chilling in front of the fire
When: Winter event
Rating: G
Summary: Life is tough for a cat in the snow
The Story:

one (catbus/closed to Phantom Thieves)

[It's very easily decided on the mode of transportation that the gang would take to get to the lodge in the first place- why sludge through the wintery mix that's suddenly befallen the environment, when you could arrive in absolute style? So, crammed on the inside of the catbus™, the Phantom Thieves are treated to a door to door service towards the lodge. The only thing that could make this trip better was if they didn't decide to go off-roading, but with that much snow around, why deal with a path when you can make your own.

The catbus™ radio comes equipped with some simple, snazzy Christmas tunes- because, really, what else are you going to play at the start of summer to really get yourself in the mood for torrential snowfall? And just to make sure that the gang is all safe and warm, the heat is turned up and there are cat sweaters at the ready inside should anyone feel a little on the chilled side. It's practically a limo service. Now, if only a couple of those wiley kids in the back could keep it down a bit so that Akira could concentrate more on driving. This is precious cargo, after all!]

[It takes nearly all night for his coat to finally dry off, so when the morning of Day 2 hits, of course Morgana wants to go back out there and enjoy the sights and sounds of blanketed countryside. There's general debauchery going down in every general direction, culminating with the massive snowball fight that has most of the Phantom Thieves embroiled in a high noon showdown. But afterward, when they start to split up and explore/enjoy the rest of the day, Morgana decides to take on two tasks before leaving the lodge in two days.

The first, of course, is to build a snowman. Well, actually, a catman, because snowmen are a little antiquated and outdated when put up against the possibility of building something that has semblance to the wise and great Morgana. The only problem here... and it's kind of a big one, is that he doesn't exactly have opposable thumbs, so he's just missing the mark a little bit when he tries to ball anything up larger than a pine cone. This is turning out to be a much harder task than what he was anticipating. But every snow god needs its altar! The Snowcat must be completed.

The second thing Morgana wants to try later that afternoon, is riding down the slopes in a snowboard. The only problem with that is that the booties on the board don't really allow for a pair of paws to fit in, so as he's inching forward to the top of the hill, his chariot drawn by a string carried taut by his incisors, he wonders how in the world this is supposed to happen.

three (open)

[What with the amount of shenanigans that have been happening the last few days, the catbus™ needs to refuel a little bit before the gang all head back to their new everyday life back at the estate and its surrounding mysteries. The drive in was ultimately pretty taxing on the little guy, and he decides that it's a perfect day to laze around in front of the fire and enjoy the warmth that it provides in the lodge. Morgana is poised carefully in front of the flame, not even minding that there's the carcass throwrug of a polar bear under him (okay, look, the fur is soft and inviting).

He closes his eyes for a little bit, and although the positioning is nowhere near as comfortable sleeping on top of Akira's stomach, he finds himself purring himself to a languid state of being... which is rather embarrassing because he's not a cat, but that's besides the point. He can't be faulted for feeling so energy drained, especially after the insane amounts of fun that the snowball fight was the other day.]

[Morgana is a great companion for the wintery wonderland that is... Wonderland. If anything in the above doesn't fit what you have in mind, feel free to start something and I'll adapt to it. If you'd like to plot out anything, my plurk is [plurk.com profile] centerfold

[Souji has been preparing himself to meet Morgana since he first met Ann and by God, he is going to find him during this event and talk to him.

Turns out that isn't as difficult as it sounded in his head. He approaches the snowcat-in-progress and stops a little ways away.]

Do you want help?

[It's probably hard to tell, but he is pretty excited.]
