Vriska: Make them pay
Who: Vriska Serket and all who've wronged her
Where: All through the mansion
When: Throughout the event
Rating: R for death and violence.
Summary: Vriska has some scores to settle.
Note: I've put specific threads for the people she's going after immediately; feel free to add threads for anyone who wants to run into her and/or get sucked into a revenge spiral too
The Story:
[Vriska on a normal day is not above a healthy dose of revenge. She's already been dying to get vengeance on certain people in this mansion, she's just been biding her time. And it seems the Mansion is as susceptible to her luck manipulation as anyone else because today when she wakes up, she just knows: it's time.
For the most part, she's working not to be seen. But if you're lucky enough to catch her between revenge sprees, you might have a chance at rational conversation. Maybe. As rational as Vriska gets]

John and Dave
And what better way to pay him back than by breaking his heart, getting revenge on another of her targets at the same time. Because you'd better believe she blames Dave for this, and that he spied on her makes him even more ripe for the hurting.
As such, Dave will receive a box outside his door. Inside is a device rigged to explode when opened, although given that this is Vriska there's an 80% chance it won't work. But that's okay, because if it's dropped or knocked it's liable to blow up anyway]

He opens the box.
This is where his luck is shit, since this is the rare time that it actually works like it's supposed to. It explodes in his hands, and his body goes flying straight into the wall, limp and extremely burned.
It's probably a good thing that he's dead, rather than suffering through the intense agony of the severe burns and shrapnel embedded into his body. Also a thanks to Jade for reaping him before this actually happened.]

John flew as fast as he could to Vriska's room, Zuko trailing behind. After that weird encounter with Sokka, he wasn't getting detained again. He'd lose his nerve, wouldn't he?
Maybe not. He was too pissed to imagine not being angry.
The door was easy enough to knock off its hinges with a quick blast of air, then he was inside. "Vriska, what were you thinking?!"

And it was cute how he thought he could stand up to her. She knew someone else like that, someone who thought he could stop her before she used his own weapon against him.
"I'm going to assume that means it worked? Huh. Guess this is my lucky day after all."
Her dice were in hand, just ready to roll the moment she felt she could justify it. Which meant letting him get in first because that way it was self defence and it wasn't like anything he did was going to leave her unable to strike back.

He couldn't. He couldn't let this go. He wanted to hurt her too.
Somewhere, he knew that didn't sound like him. But he couldn't resist it. He had to do something.
So, wind rushing him towards her, he went in for a strike to her abdomen.

As he moved to strike low she flew upwards, rolling the dice. As the final of the eight settled she transformed, Ancestral Awakening in full effect. Taking a moment to settle the weight of the cutlass in her hand she lunged forward, slashing downwards to try and strike at him.

"You hurt me." John lifted the hammer again, swinging it sideways, aiming for her side.

"I thought you might come to your senses. I thought you might realize I didn't do this just to hurt you." Swing. "It had nothing to do with you." Swing! "I just want to be happy!"
no subject
"Everything I did for you and this is how you repay me?! You would have been nothing without me! Nothing! And then you turn your back on me the moment it's not convenient?"
no subject
"I needed you here and you weren't and I couldn't-- I couldn't talk to you about any of it. And even if I did, you still would have been mad!"
no subject
Her own movements are getting frenzied, her rage building even as it spills out.
"And here I thought you were different. But you're not. Just the same as all the rest of them."
no subject
His hammer is heavy, and he's swinging it so hard that he's tiring out faster than normal. But he's still going. He's still mad.
no subject
"Yes, it is! People call me selfish and maybe I am but at least I can stand up and admit it!" Not quite, and she's never shown remorse for it but she's always been one for double standards. "All you've ever done is make excuse after excuse for why none of this is your fault!"
Again, hypocritical. But she's not thinking straight; all she can see is that he hurt her and then has the gall to call her out on her retaliation.
no subject
And that's all he can say before he's hissing in pain and dropping the hammer, her cut managing to go rather deep. His arm falls limply to his side and he just stands there, gaping.
"Vriska..."
no subject
"I always get my revenge, John. Always. It'd pay for you to remember that."
no subject
Fuck.
He wants to stay standing, to at least get back at her by dying on his feet or-- something. But his legs give out and he's on his knees, bleeding and bleeding and bleeding.

Then she throws the sword to the ground, allowing it to clatter before the effect wears off. Dice back in her specibus, she stalks out of her room. Time to find somewhere else to hole up for now.
