Summary: Catch-All Post for the Avengers Wagon Train and all related shenanigans. Of which there will be many.

The Story:
Sunday morning dawns bright and early and full of confusion, because this is Wonderland, which is reason enough. But the setting everyone wakes up to is not the Wonderland they've become used to. It's not immediately obvious to some what event this world has dropped them into this time, but for others...

The presence of the wagons and oxen and the trading post's residents encouraging cheers to send everyone on their way to Oregon is a fairly telling clue. And since it seems there's no avoiding this one way or another, the resident superheroes form up a wagon caravan and hope to get through the long journey in one piece.

...Or at least as close to that as they can manage it.

[Clint has willingly passed her the coat he woke up in, returning from sleep with an angry growl just before they're about to ford the river.]

[ Natasha can't help but grin as she flicks her fingers against the brim of his cowboy hat, although she takes his coat with a thankful smile. So much better than ruffles and lace. And corsets. Dear god, she'd never been so glad to be born when she had been. ]

[She might notice there's a sheriff's badge and his eyes are bleary]

Any particular reason why we're going to Oregon?

[ She hadn't missed it, but she hadn't immediately commented on it, either. Besides, they were all feeling a little rough this morning.

His question has her shrugging with an exasperated sigh. ]

Because apparently that's where this event or game or whatever it is ends. I take it you never played this either?

[Living in a circus? He shrugs] If it doesn't have a gun and isn't on an X-box, I'm unfamiliar.

Don't tell any of the junior agents but I hadn't played any video games until Phil gave me that X-Box.

You know I didn't either, that's not so shameful. [ She chuckles quietly at that, because there are so many fond memories of that. ] We'll have to do that, once Wonderland goes back to being Wonderland. Grab Phil and maybe have some epic matches of Call of Duty or something.

I'd like that.

[He is glad to have Phil again.] Or we can play call of duty oregon trail.

[ She smirks faintly at that, bemused. ]

[He leans back] All black is supposed to help.

I'm not sure anything can help this. [ Her smile is rueful but she hands him the canteen she's taken to carrying with water all the same. ] Short of some oasis that comes equipped with air conditioning, anyway. Maybe a pool. With a swim-up bar.
