Avengers Catch-All Post

Who: The Avengers and YOU
Where: Along the Oregon Trail
When: Sunday, August 31 - Thursday, September 4
Rating: S for Shpadoinkle. And Snowmen. And Sickly Steve with his entourage.
Summary: Catch-All Post for the Avengers Wagon Train and all related shenanigans. Of which there will be many.

The Story:
Sunday morning dawns bright and early and full of confusion, because this is Wonderland, which is reason enough. But the setting everyone wakes up to is not the Wonderland they've become used to. It's not immediately obvious to some what event this world has dropped them into this time, but for others...

The presence of the wagons and oxen and the trading post's residents encouraging cheers to send everyone on their way to Oregon is a fairly telling clue. And since it seems there's no avoiding this one way or another, the resident superheroes form up a wagon caravan and hope to get through the long journey in one piece.

...Or at least as close to that as they can manage it.

Of course Natasha gets to the clothes first. Of course Natasha probably forcibly woke herself up to manage to raid the men's clothes. Of course Maria's still stuck with her goddamn corset. She could probably deal with the dress easier if the corset wasn't involved - yesterday had been a pain in the... everywhere. Give her a damn shirt and the worst pants ever - just anything she can move in freely.

"Is there anything spare?" With the amount of men in their wagon there should be, or so you'd hope if the men had actually figured to pick up extra clothes.

"If I didn't mind not breathing I'm sure it would be fine." But Maria wasn't quite so good at sitting still, not when there were dangerous around. Sure the main dangers here were the animals but it was enough that someone needed to fend them off, and that involved moving. And breathing.

"I'll have to have a look. You ever been in this place before? Or time." Whatever it was. Maria knew by now that things changed frequently but she hadn't gotten all of the ideas in her head quite so quickly, not when it involved things she'd never believed possible before.

"I'm not going to ask what that included." Particularly if it was a pre-SHIELD mission. If it was during then she'd got the details somewhere, and either the explosions or potential exaggeration (or minimization) didn't make it a great story. Or did.

"At least out here it's probably easy enough to get some supplies." Some. Food was everywhere, along with wood and water. Although if it really was the 1800's - as their dress indicated - that may not go so smoothly. "I've been on missions with less."
