[Open] Tiny Russian assassin on the loose
Who: Natasha Romanoff and you
Where: Around the mansion
When: December 12-14
Rating: Pg-ish
Summary: Natasha may have a weakness when it comes to cookies...
The Story:
She probably should have known better. Technically, she did know better, but considering the mansion's magic had gone all out when it came to decorating this morning, she'd suspected the sudden insistence of the dining room's menu had been part of it.
Which is why, one sprinkle-covered stocking-shaped sugar cookie later, there's a tiny redheaded girl perching on one of the large dining room chairs, glancing around herself in surprise and confusion, with no idea where she is, or how she had come to be there. Was this some new test?
Taking her cookie with her, she munched on it as she slipped out of the room, peeking around corners and into doorways as she explored this unexpected situation she found herself in, looking not at all alarmed over the fact that she didn't know why. She was sure she would find out soon enough, if she just looked in the right places...

Still dragging his blanket along with him, the little Scottish boy was trying to find his way back to the place with cookies, shuffling along and pausing at every doorway to check and see if it was the right one.
Where had he found them before?
no subject
The sight of another child coming down the hall towards her had her stopping in surprise for a moment, her head cocked inquisitively to the side as she regarded him. She didn't recognize him, but that meant little. So far, she hadn't recognized anyone, after all.
Still, she walks up to him and stops in front of him to fix him with a puzzled look. "Who are you? What are you doing here?"
Was this her clue?

"Don't do that!" he scolded, gathering up as much of his blanket in his arms as he could and clutching it close as he peered at her with a frown. "I'm Leo. I'm looking for momma."
He had no idea who this little girl was but at least it was someone. It was kind of scary not being able to find any people because he hadn't even heard voices yet; all the rooms he checked were empty.
"Who're you?"
no subject
"I'm Natalia." Because she hadn't been instructed to be anyone else. "I didn't do anything. It's not my fault you weren't paying attention. Who is your momma?"
Maybe he wasn't a clue after all?
no subject
"My momma."
Duh. Come on, Natalia. Don't you get it?
no subject
She huffs out a sigh and rolls her eyes before holding her hand out to the smaller boy. "Come on, I'll help you look. Where do you think she might be? Does she like to cook? Would she be in the kitchen? Or could she be visiting someone here?"
no subject
Nice people did that sort of thing, right?
"Um...she makes cookies," he mumbled, sniffling a bit as he peered up at Natasha. So the kitchen might be a good place to start, right? He loves to watch his momma bake.
