Summary: Billy's mirror switches sides and Billy is stuck on the mirror side with the jabberwocky on the loose.
The Story:

It's a strange occurrence, to blink and suddenly be on a different side of the mirror. It took Billy a minute to recognize that's what happened but he sees his room in the mirror not his reflection. A quick look around at his dull gray surroundings and he knows, it's happened again. He can't help but wonder why, last time it was because the Queen ordered them to switch, did she do that again? Or was his mirror just being an asshole.

Not wanting to stay in his mirror's room, who knows what mirrors drop by frequently to look for him, he scrawls a note on the mirror to Teddy, hopefully he sees it before someone else does and wipes it away.

T, I'm on the mirrorside again. I don't know what's going on yet. Don't trust him/me. <3 B

Satisfied he heads cautiously out into the hallway hoping he doesn't run into trouble. An indiscernible time later that same mirror will be splattered with blood. Whose blood it is is unclear.

[OOC: Billy will most likely be getting nom'd and his memories erased. Please specify if you want Billy before or after this happens. I'm up for either scenario.]

Natasha stumbling across Loki's Mirror had been an accident. A strange and disconcerting accident, to say the least, but as she glances around the shelter the man's set up on this side, she realizes it's a good thing as she spots a familiar face.

"Billy?" she asks hesitantly, approaching him with care where he was huddled nearby. "Are you alright? Teddy's been worried sick. Are you hurt?"

Billy looks up from where his arms are wrapped around his legs. He's been told by a few people that his name is Billy and since he can't remember a thing he has no choice bt to believe them. That doesn't make anything easier to handle and he has no idea who this new person is or who she's talking about.

"Who?" He looked up at her. "I'm ok, just a few cuts and bruises. Who are you?"

If she hadn't already found Bruce in a similar state, this might have been more alarming. As it was, it still made her worry as she came to crouch in front of him, giving him a sympathetic smile.

"I'm Natasha. A friend. I've been worried about you, everyone has. Teddy - he's you're boyfriend, your best friend - nearly went into a panic when he couldn't find you. Can you tell me what happened?" she asks gently.

That's the second person whose mentioned a boyfriend to him. "If he's my boyfriend the where is he?"

He was skeptical. "I don't know what happened. The only thing I remember is being here and what happened after everything went blank. Someone named Pepper found me and brought me here. And I ran across someone named Scott and some other people that had no memories. Do you know what's going on?"

"I do, but it might sound very confusing to you," she answers with a wry grimace as she crouches down in front of him, laying a hand lightly on his knee. "I'm sure Teddy will be here to find you as soon as we let him know where you are. You see, you're in a section of the mansion that none of us could get to until today. We we... stuck, I suppose you could say, in another part of it. Where you usually stay, too, but something happened and you got dragged here and none of us could follow right away. Although I'm not surprised Pepper and Scott were on this side too."

Considering the temperaments of their Mirrors. She'd have to let Steve know about that as well. And maybe go looking for the werewolf. They could use his help, if he was willing to offer it.

"Pepper and Scott are also friends of yours. They must have gotten dragged here when you did. It's taken us days to find a way through to follow you, but we're here now. And we're going to find a way to keep you safe."

Billy nodded, something about this woman made him feel reassured. Maybe because he knew her before. He trusted her, trusted that she would keep them safe.

"There was this giant...thing. I don't really remember it, just impressions, but it's not something you want to go up against."

"Yes, we've been warned," she answers and there's a hint of wry humor in her tone as she gives him a crooked smile, thumb rubbing soothing circles against his knee. "Unfortunately for you, you're friends with a bunch of crazy people so that giant thing is why we're here. We're going to try and keep it from hurting anyone else, if we can."

Billy snorts. "Calling yourself crazy isn't exactly reassuring. How are you planning on fighting it?" He grins at her slightly still not quite understanding anythung in this crazy place.

"Any way we can," she answers wryly, giving his knee a squeeze. "And I don't know, sometimes a little crazy is just what you need. Especially in this situation." Because what wasn't crazy in this place? We're all mad here.

"We're resourceful. And we don't have a lot of options outside of fighting it, unless we want it to devour everyone's memories, and not be able to get any of them back. That's... not really an option, by the way. We're very bad about just letting monsters stroll in and get away with things like that."

She hopes you remember enough to know what sarcasm is, Billy, or you're in really dire straights here.

Billy had to laugh. Yes, he knew sarcasm.

"Just be careful, I wouldn't wish this on anyone. Don't let it get too close." He would hate to see the same thing happen to her, especially when she had been so nice to him.
