[OPEN] Transfiguration
Who: Toriel Dreemurr and You!
Where: The classroom and beyond.
When: Pretty much all the time!
Rating: G-PG, unless someone brings in something higher.
Summary: Professor Dreemurr's teaches transfiguration, among other things.
The Story:
TRANSFIGURATION CLASS
Toriel has always insisted that safety for young magical children is of the utmost importance, and her classes tend to reflect that. Before any practical lessons and magic, expect a lecture, some reading, and a short quiz on the mechanics and theory of the spell in question, before she'll allow anyone to take out their wand and try it for real. Somewhat restricting, and a little dull, but Professor Dreemurr insists that it is important to understand the basics of a spell fully, before attempting it.
Still, once you've gotten past that, she proves to be a very effective teacher. She's happy to answer any questions, work one on one with any student that needs it, and provides a generally warm and pleasant atmosphere to learn magic in.
Though, it is probably best not to cause too much trouble. Professor Dreemurr can be quite intimidating when she wants to be, and is very firm with troublemakers, especially those in higher years.
ELSEWHERE
Professor Dreemurr can be found in places other than the classroom, of course. At lunch, you can see her up at the teacher's table, sitting next to her husband- talking and laughing with each other, nuzzling noses, and just being embarrassingly loving. Unless the two have decided to enjoy a homecooked meal over at the groundskeeper's hut, of course- likely with two particular students.
Speaking of, she can sometimes be found lingering with a book in hand near the Slytherin common room- just in case her children, Frisk and Chara, happen to need her for something.
Other than that, Toriel can often be found in her office, where she has an open door policy, or enjoying a book in the library. Or you might just find her wandering the halls! She's always happy to help a student with anything they need, and is always happy to talk.

If the resounding crash doesn't give away the fact that something's gone horribly wrong with one of the sixth years' work, Anders' buzz word for whenever he's done something Anders-like should.
It'd been an honest mistake, really! He'd been practicing trying to remove the stripes from his tabby cat familiar, and between one flick of the wand and the next, Ser Pounce-a-lot the cat was all of a sudden ballooning outward and upward into Ser Pounce-a-lot the seven hundred pound Siberian tiger.
Needless to say, the small table the tabby had been perched on hadn't stood a chance, splintering apart under his weight.
But his stripes are gone, so... technically a success, right? Points for style?

Toriel waits for a few moments, but the stripeless tiger seems to have maintained the attitude of a normal cat, so she feels safe enough to approach without worrying about it trying to maul somebody.
"...I would recommend that you continue practicing. Perhaps re-read the lesson a bit... I do not think that I would be able to give this a passing grade, despite the removal of its stripes."

Really, he should be getting a commendation, not a condemnation. That had been two spells and he's just ensured everyone napping behind their own textbooks is wide-awake now. He just did the class a favor.
Following Anders' lead, Ser Pounce-a-lot rumbles sadly and lifts himself out of the wreckage to hang his head at Toriel's feet, looking up with the soft, wet eyes of a super-sized kitten. How can anyone resist this face? Have a heart, Professor.
