Who: Morty Smith and YOU?
Where: I mean either one lab or the other.
When: Spanning the lab(s) event (backdated)!
Rating: T for safety, will update as needed
Summary: Morty just doing what a bro does in times like these. Keeping his head down, not punching amalgamate monsters, and offering to attach electrodes to the heads of strangers. Potentially will expand to include other March catchalls.
The Story:
[ A. Welcome to puzzle lab heck, buddy. Though all things considered, Morty is actually feeling pretty okay about this turn in events. It may not be ideal, but it's way better than drowning, so? He kind of has no choice but to take what he's getting here. If there's one thing Morty's pretty good at, it's taking what he's getting from generally bad situations.

Much as he's not a big puzzle guy, he winds up hanging around in the first lab for a fair while until he can dig up whatever keys he needs. And, uh. Nervously warding off amalgamates with whatever food or interesting-looking things seem to be near at hand. Big shambling monsters made up of a whole lot of mixed up DNA and whatnot? That's almost a little too much like back home for his tastes.

He'll be around, though. Making idle conversation with people, volunteering his dumb stick-figure arms to help search for keys in tight spaces, and overall looking nervous about everything he possibly can. It's almost a relief to finally go onward to the second lab.

B. You know. Almost.

Talk about a regular slice of home, huh? Kind of makes him homesick, in a roundabout and complicated to dwell on way. Morty does what he knows how to do when it comes to that complicated line of thought, though. He bottles that motherflipper up and doesn't think about it anymore.

This is a little more his comfort zone than most events, at least, right? Weapons everywhere, vats full of bodies, a lot of creepy, confusing stuff that you wish you hadn't had to see. Morty's volunteering to help people out in this lab, too, because the way he figures, there are a lot of proverbial cats to herd back into their real physical bodies before they die on everyone. Nobody needs that mess. He's got a matter-of-fact approach and he is at least trying to be nice about getting the job done, provided someone's not so far gone that they don't want to go back anymore. If he has to punch a fake kid... he'd still rather not.

Coming soon to a vat near you. ]

A-alright, okay, so who's supposed to be going back into this one again? These guys aren't really labeled, so, so we gotta really make sure we've all got the right people set up. I mean, I guess the wrong body's better than none, but i-i-it's kind of a problem down the line if you wanna try to be the wrong person as a joke.

[ Consider Morty one of the disillusioned flight attendants of this jam. There's pretty much nothing else he can think to be about it. ]
