Yeah, for the most part. It's made of the same stuff as shielding generators, but it should be able to take a lot of fire. It'll stay activated until you deactivate it, too, so you could throw it if you wanted. Actually, you know Steve Rogers? He does stuff like that. I bet he could let you know some good moves.
