the story |
( they check in on each other whenever possible. girls have to stick together, as far as iris is concerned, and that sentiment only grows stronger in a place like wonderland. harry's presence is missed, but iris knows that he'd want them sticking close to jesse. iris is aware of what a capable young woman jesse is, and so she isn't the kind to hover, but she does suggest they hang out every now and then. it never hurts to be reminded that you're not alone. iris cares about jesse, and not just because of what jesse means to wally.
it occurs to them both that it's been a while since they last had a sleepover.
this is a truth that they seek to rectify immediately, and it's why iris moseys on over to jesse's room. they all live on the fourth floor, so it doesn't take long to reach it. a light knock with one hand, iris keeps her other arm occupied with a bag of goodies. )
