Completely distracted by the enjoyment he gets out of explaining what he's working on, he doesn't stop to think that he shouldn't be. "but Wonderland is dangerous and it's not the worst plan for kids to be able to defend themselves, right? I mean, if somebody can't get to her in time and she's got nothing..."

He would feel awful if something happened and he didn't do anything he could to prevent it from happening. As an afterthought, he adds,"Plus, she kept bugging me about building her a cold gun like Leonard's. This is where I made the compromise."
