Summary: Newt is trying his best on the Real Side to help those he can. Mirror!Newt is just seeking out those that know his Real Side self and messing with their heads. If more detailed starters are desired, pm or plurk me.
The Story:
Real Side
If Newt were the sort to worry, he never even would have come up with this event ever. So many since he arrived assured him that the mirrors stay there, and while they certainly messed with their Real Side counterparts, they didn't cross over.
Except as with so many rules, it seems this one was made to be broken as well.
Already Newt has lost his teal coat to a mishap, and hasn't taken time to wish for a new one from the closet. Instead he is most often found in waistcoat, sleeves rolled up on his shirt and wand in hand and at the ready.
He won't assume that everyone that has chosen to cross into the real Wonderland is a danger... but he's not taking chances. Not again.
Mirrorside
Leave it to the Real Siders to just go and screw with everything. Listening to the announcement, Newt can't help but to roll his eyes. This was why muggle science had little place in most worlds. They didn't know enough about it to not go about mucking things up.
He's been watching his Real Side counterpart a bit though, and while he has no interest in skipping over and hunting down wayward children, it is enough to pique Newt's interests. Especially in seeking out those he's seen with his other self.
Slipping into a bit more dated clothes than he's been wearing, Newt slips his wand into his pocket and heads out to see what fun he can find.
