[Open] We're gonna have so much fun
Who: Asriel and open!
Where: The Ski Resort
When: 06/02-06/03
Rating: Probably just PG
Summary: Asriel tries snowboarding!! And has hot chocolate!!
The Story:
[Outside the resort]
[A ski resort isn't what Asriel was expecting, but it feels a little familiar. It feels a little like Snowdin, except the sun was shining and there were these huge, sloping hills.
At first Asriel does the kinds of things you'd expect a kid to do in the snow - throw a few snowballs at some unsuspecting people, attempt to make a snowman before getting distracted and wandering off, generally enjoy the outdoors for the first time in the few days he's been here.
But nothing really catches his attention until he sees people zipping down the hills on snowboards. He watches them for a while before coming to one conclusion:
That looks awesome and he wants to try that.
He's able to rent a kid's sized snowboard, and he finds a fairly steep hill. He climbs on the board, just like he was instructed to do and it's going to be so cool when he flies down that hill-
The board moves two feet forward, sliding out from under Asriel's feet and causing the small goat monster to topple backwards into the snow with a loud yelp. He shakes it off, looking slightly grumpy, and tries again.
And he keeps trying.
And keeps falling, in more creative ways. Don't mind the legs and tail that's currently sticking up out of the snow, and the snowboard that's laying a few feet away.]
[The Lodge]
[WELL Asriel's first attempt at snowboarding did not go as cool and awesome and smoothly as he was expecting. To soothe his injured pride (and some of the bumps and bruises he's gotten), he's warming up with a cup of hot chocolate stuffed full of marshmallows.
He's still kind of chilly, from one too many nosedives into big piles of snow. All things considered though? It wasn't a terrible way to spend a snow day.]
