The flush to Newt's cheeks has darkened, more from Andy behaving as he has than from the cold. Yet he can't help but to smile, giving a nod as she settles her hat into place once more. "Quite fetching, by the way. And smart in this weather."
He's wearing his usual clothes and had not honestly thought of either a hat or gloves.
"You are most welcome, and our honor as it was Andy's fault you lost it in the first place," he says, glancing at the saucer. "I think I remember doing something like that as a boy my first year at Hogwarts. As I recall we got in quite a bit of trouble. Might have been we were using a silver platter from the kitchen."
The memory of it makes him smile though.
"It has been different," he admits, shaking his head. "Most things he takes readily too. Not snatching up whatever catches his eye though? I fear it's part of the nature of the beast so it may become a case of returning things rather than finding a way of stopping him."
He glances around at the snow. "You hadn't started your garden, had you?"
