4th floor, room 48 CW, Child abuse and murder.

[Maybe it was denial at first, but when Damian first steps into his room, he finds himself instantly trying to reject what he is seeing. But there was no denying it. It was the Wayne Enterprise's lobby that Leviathan had plans to place a meta bomb. Lining the overhead balcony in a circle are assassins, Al Ghul zealots. All armed with arrows and gun, shooting at one spot. When Damian's gaze moves to that spot he feels a cold fill his chest. There was no denying it. What was playing was his greatest failure playing on a morbid loop. The day Robin died.

Grayson and him, are ducking from the rain of projectiles behind a marble information desk. Damian looks younger and somehow even smaller than he is now. The two don't look scared or even concerned as they exchange pleasantries. Grayson readying some smoke bombs that will give them cover.

"We were the best Richard. No matter what anyone thinks." The child says, his brother with a confident smile that never leaves his face just shrugs nonchalantly before replying. "We can't help being great." The smoke fills the lobby, giving them the cover needed.

The area is filled with screams and gunfire as the men are unable to stop the two. When the smoke starts to clear is when they notice the elevator doors open. A large man steps out, the Heretic.

Damian feels an all too familiar pain in his chest at the sight of him. The man grabs Grayson. The scene plays just as he remembers. His memory screams at his clone. Grayson is knocked out. His small from goes sailing through a glass casing in the lobby, but Damian doesn’t stop. “Mother! I know you’re watching! Call off your beast!” He shouts but it falls on deaf ears. His mother never appears. “Father?” He tries but he doesn’t appear either.

The assassins open fire once again, an arrow hitting him in the back as he’s attacking. He failed to dodge. Another arrow lands its mark, then another. Robin is getting more slow and sluggish. Sloppy. That’s all the opening his “brother” needs before he lunged his sword forward and pierces through Damian’s heart. A look of shock is etched on Robin’s dying face as he’s dropped limply to the floor.

[Damian looks at himself dead on the ground just before the memory starts to loop again. “Mother. Call him off at once...” She wasn’t coming. She was never going to come. He doesn’t even flinch anymore as the sword sinks into his memory and the boy falls limp. Damian just watches. Every tick, every flaw, every misstep. He memorizes them until finally he moves. Stepping into his younger self, glaring up at his clone. Enhanced by mother and trained to kill him. Replace him for failing to betray his own father. “My brother. My twin. My rival--” The clone starts to say in an all too familiar way.]

Shut up.

[Damian snarls, drawing his sword because he does not want to hear it.] Let's end this how it was meant to end, Brother.

[The door is of course locked. The sounds of gunfire can be heard, screams and some explosions. Those somehow manage to look or get in will either find Damian studying the memory in silence or taking part in it and stubbornly trying to change the outcome.]

((Ooc: Let me know via plurk @[personal profile] starbound if you would like your character to see the memory or talk to him during.))
