watching damian go through the memory is--painful. not even just because he dies, but because it's quite clear damian's having a really, really hard time with it. he jumps in, torments himself over it, tries his best to get back up and win but. . it's not real. there's no winning. jon does give him time, however. he gives damian two run throughs, hand pressed over his mouth to stifle his own cries as damian gets stabbed, killed--he was only trying his best. damian didn't deserve this.
daiman doesn't deserve any of this.
he's angry; angry at damian's mother, angry at the clone who stabs him, angry at this whole thing, but jon knows he can't do anything about it. there's no way to fix something that's stuck on replay. why wasn't his dad there for him? clark--could have prevented this.
