He should probably come out now, but that's going to depend on whether Tim even wants to see him right now. That, and whether he can even stand up. He tries for a moment, and it just makes his skull ache, so he gives up.

"yeah, i'm f..."

God, can't even lie from a distance.

"i'm not dead."

That should suffice.

"i c...i think i called her."

Tim...doesn't know, does he? He doesn't know she can rewind. So all Sans has ended up doing here is exposing her secret to someone else. One more person she'll have no choice but to explain it too, because of course he picked the worst event to ask for a rewind. He hopes to hell he had a good enough reason for it.

He tries to stand again and manages it this time, bracing himself heavily against the tree. His knees are shaking, so he leans back against the tree, finally taking his hand away from his eyesocket. It feels like something's wrong with it, so he pulls up his hoodie. He knows humans can't see too well in the dark, but he'd really rather not deal with any questions until he can check it for himself. None of this is about him, after all. And the hood should help Tim see him as...less of a threat, maybe.

Then he finally steps out from behind the tree, one hand still braced against the trunk. His eyelights are out, so his whole face is obscured in shadow.

"hey. you alright, tim?"
