Taako can't say he didn't see this coming. This Lup girl is...really good at finding him. Which adds credence to her claims to know him but, well. At this point he's not even questioning that. He's just questioning everything else.

So he closes his book and stretches a little. There really isn't any point in running away or trying to avoid this, is there? It's definitely his first instinct, but he can just see her popping up again, sliding her arm through his. And as much as he hates this compelled, forced truth-- as much as he hates not having the choice to be brutally honest --he's pretty sure she'll accept whatever it is with her peculiar, somewhat destructive grace.

He wishes he could do her the same courtesy. But that option's been taken from him, hasn't it?
