Even though Jason's looking at Tim - and he's fairly certain Tim is looking at him - Jason leaves his finger on the line he'd been reading on the open page and gives a quick glance around to one side, then the other. Yep, this kid sure does seem to be talking to him, though Jason can't reach for a reason why. Expression quizzical, he nods in acknowledgment to Tim's greeting.
