Summary: So it turns out that Lisa Frank neon!zombies don’t behave quite like the zombies Shaun’s used to. Fortunately he’s got Jesse around.
The Story:
[Wonderland sure has taken a turn for the Lisa Frank. Whatever this ‘ELLAND’ is. Wherever it is. And for a moment, there, in the beginning, Jesse lets herself get pulled into the fantasy. Her dad. Her mom. Cisco. And Stefan, there with her. They’re together. Happy. That’s one of the hardest parts for her to deny. Stefan and her mom. It breaks her heart. But it’s not real. No matter how much she might wish it was. How much she wants it to be.
It’s not real. And there are people she needs to find. Friends. Real ones, there with her in Wonderland. She can’t protect the people that are back home, that are worlds away. But she can keep the people still here with her alive.
She ignores the way the world changes around her, twists and warps, like it’s angry at her for denying the fantasy and fake happiness it had tried to give her. She doesn’t care. It doesn’t matter. She has better things to do, and people to find, and an event to survive.
The addition of zombies doesn’t make that easier. What is it with Wonderland and zombies? These are a little different, at least. Lisa Frank zombies. Not a combination she needed.
