When: 8/31: the last day of summer and the twins' BIRTHDAY
Rating: PG for Party Games
Summary: Dipper and Mabel are 16! Mabel's excited to have a party, and Dipper's a little sulky about still looking like a preteen. Lucky(?) for him, Mabel has colluded with a certain unicorn to change that.
The Story:
It's the last day of summer, and Dipper and Mabel are officially 16. As twins, they've always thrown the best birthday parties and this year is no exception, even if Dipper's still feeling a little reluctant. Under the big, sparkly MABEL AND DIPPER'S SUPER SWEET SIXTEEN banner Mabel made, there's a table filled with all kinds of tasty snacks. There are also cupcakes and other sweets, though the cake won't be brought out until people are ready to sing.
There are, of course, lots of beach toys. Balls and pool noodles and floaty things that are all brightly colored and ready to use. There's sand castle making too, for the more artistically inclined, and despite his sulking, Dipper still managed to put together an epic scavenger hunt with ridiculously cryptic clues. It's good practice for the next time Wonderland tries to mess with them.
At night, there's a beautiful bonfire with s'mores and music and scary stories... assuming, of course, everyone manages to survive that long without dying of old age or being unborn.
[ooc: PARTY POST. Make your own starters, tag around, go nuts! Dipper and Mabel will be aging to teenagers, then adults, then old age, and Stan will be de-aging to a little kid through the course of the night. So you know. Have fun with that mess.]
