Right. That was probably not the name to roll out of his mouth at her, without having any clue whatsoever if he's here, still. People move in and out of Wonderland so much, it can be hard to keep up with even when you are living there. Having been away for a still undetermined amount of time...he has no idea who is and isn't here anymore.

All the other things can wait, there will be plenty of time, or if there isn't, they won't be here long enough to be concerned about it later. Either way-- it could wait. "I have no idea if he's still here or not, though, just...f-y-i. It's been awhile since I've been here, so..." He isn't trying to crash her hopes, here, he just kind of wants to keep them a little grounded in reality.
