Summary: Alice has invited everyone, Reals and Mirrors alike, to come color outside in the nice spring weather with magic chalk. Surely nothing could go wrong with that plan, right?
The Story:

Outside, the weather is absolutely beautiful. It's not too hot, but not too cold either, and no one would have ever realized there was snow on the ground yesterday if they hadn't been here to see it. The grass is green and everything is dry - no sign of melted snow anywhere at all. Flowers have begun to bloom and it truly looks as though it's been spring for some time already. The season has changed abruptly and now Wonderland's decided it's time for it to be nice out.

There are many paths through the gardens, the vendors, and the hedge maze that can be drawn on, but as Alice demonstrated in her post, there's no need at all to stick to pavement only. Even the air can be decorated with living drawings!

This is a log for people who want to come color outside or people who want to check out what others are doing out here. It isn't strictly to interact with Alice, but she'll be around and will have a top level.

[Never fear, Louis is here! Or...perhaps fear a little, because this is still Louis and he's not going to allow any rescue attempt to be regular. He does have Chairles, though- and runs over to happy whack a few numbers out of the way. It's considerably easier to take out the dead with it- they usually stay down. ]

So. I'd say this is a sine of a larger problem, huh, Dip?

[Look. If he's going to help you, you're going to have to put up with his shitty puns. It's the price you have to pay. Also, him singing a rousing rendition of "Comma, Comma, Comma, Chameleon" as he takes out a few stray punction marks.

[Dipper’s eyes widen and a question mark manages to knock him down while he’s staring at Louis. He kicks it off, then blurts out:]

You know trigonometry?

[His general fear and hatred of triangles makes math horrible in some ways, but he still likes it. Maybe finally he has someone to talk to about it!]

[Louis is happily just beating the crap out of the little chalk-monstrosities. It's a good time. He pauses in taking out a number 9 to flash a smile in Dipper's direction.]

Nooooot enough to warrant the look you're giving me. I've always been more of an arts kid. [He gives an easy-going shrug.] Buuuut you spend eight years of your life living in a school- you read some textbooks because y'know, TV isn't a thing any more.

What text books? Any good ones?

[TOO LATE LOUIS DIPPER WANTS TO ABSORB ALL YOUR BIG KID KNOWLEDGE.]

[Oh nooo, he didn't expect this would be a question.]

Uh. Like...regular school text books? I think?? [He never went to public school, like hell he knows what a regular text book is.] Math, English, biology. Stuff like that?

So you don't, like, remember any interesting stuff.

[Dipper looks so disappointed HOW CAN YOU DISAPPOINT THIS CHILD, LOUIS, YOU CRUEL MONSTER?]

Define interesting.

[He arches an eyebrow because wow, Dipper, wow.]

Because 'interesting' to my group was stuff that could keep us from...y'know, dying. Which...ultimately was super boring, but them's the kicks.

Right, right, zombies. Sucking all the fun out of everything always.

That's generally what they do. It's super rude.

[But he'll try to salvage this.]

I mean, I did pretty okay with my education before I got sent to Ericson's? Straight As and everything. But I was younger than you are now, so most of what I knew then, you'd already know by now. [He chuckles.] You know. There's a guy back home called Aasim. You and he would really get along. You've got a lot in common. He's read all the books and knows all the shit.

Really? [Dipper brightens again.] Man, I wish he'd come. [A beat.] Uh, no offense.

[teamfun]

[He laughs.]

None taken. I wish he was here too. He'd probably be way better at figuring out Wonderland shit than I am. He's got everything super together. Besides, I kinda miss his endless complaining.

[A pause, because there is always a chance, he guesses:]

Never tell him I said that if he does show up here. I'll never live it down.

[That gets an actual flash of a grin.]

I totally get that. My lips are sealed.

You're a good guy, Dips. I appreciate it.

[The chances of Aasim ever showing up are slim, but he'll take the safety net when he can get it.]
