Axel and Roxas | unfinished
Who: Axel [
flurry_o_flames] and Roxas [
oblivioning]
Where: Their room; second floor, room 138
When: Morning of the 21st
Rating: PG
Summary: Watch out for the ghosts~ The married couple wake up on the morning of the 21st, and something isn't quite right.
the Story:
By all rights, this morning shouldn't be anything out of the ordinary. It should be like the other hundreds of mornings that Roxas has spent with his husband by his side, waking up in his arms and being able to savour the moment each time. Sure, there have been a few that have been... slightly out of the ordinary.
But nothing really compares to this.
As he starts to stir, Roxas can immediately tell that something is amiss, and he's hesitant to open his eyes and find out what exactly that thing is. "Axel...?" he ventures tentatively instead, not being able to feel the other anywhere close by. It's possible that the redhead has already gotten up and is making the most of his day, but...
When there's no answer, Roxas opens his eyes and takes a look around-- and immediately wishes that he hadn't.
Despite stints in Halloween Town, the teenager has never really believed in ghosts. But the situation at hand was forcing him to change his tune, because his husband was one.
