So she was more than a little nervous about spending time with him. It was a weird kind of nervous, both because she knew that he was going to try and make her ‘remember’, and something else that she couldn’t quite put her finger on. Altogether it was creating a very unpleasant feeling in her stomach.

She leaned forward towards the mirror in her room, pushing hair over her face and then blowing it back out of the way. Maybe she could use this as a chance to convince him that she was definitely not who he thought she was. Terra proceeded to make faces at herself in the mirror, in an attempt to calm herself down. It was going to be fine. They were just hanging out, that was all.

“Come on, you’re acting stupid…” She turned away from the mirror, pacing across the floor and repeating this new mantra over and over to herself. Alright, this was going to be no problem. The game plan was to get him to realize that he had the wrong girl.

And to be nice to him, that too.

When she heard the knock on the door she jumped, laughing at herself for being startled so easy. She opened it just a crack to peer out at him, before opening the rest of the way and stepping outside, quickly shutting the door behind her.

“Hey. So ah, ready to go?”
