Well, at least he was alright. People could drown in shallow puddles, right? Not like she really thought that he would have drowned, but still. She watched him pick up the rock, wondering just what he was planning on doing with it.
“Good job.” The sarcasm was dripping from her voice, Terra crouching down to search for a stone of her own. She smiled with satisfaction when she found a flat, smooth stone. She said nothing, only holding it up in front of her face and squinting.
“Here goes!” She sent the rock flying, it gave a few weak skips over the surface, looking as though it would sink next. Terra watched it intently, eyes widening as the rock seemed to shoot forward across the water. It didn’t even seem to be skipping, just gliding across the water. She watched it until it disappeared out of sight.
