Nill nods as he sets the sandwich back down. One and a half isn’t bad, even if he did sort of inhale the first one. (That can’t have felt good.) It’s not enough to get the meat back on his bones, but it’s a start. She intends to give him the remaining sandwiches so that he’ll hopefully eat them later, though she’s not so sure that he actually will.
For now she decides that it’s a good idea to give his stomach a rest, packing the sandwiches away to avoid them getting sandy. The cake can wait, maybe if he has another sandwich later.
She hops to her feet, reaching down to grab one of his hands and tug insistently. Despite how skinny James in she’s not strong enough to pull him to his feet herself. She grins down at him and points urgently towards the beach, hoping he’ll catch her meaning—or at the very least, stand up.
