The sight of Russia saying such commonly reassuring things ("I'm going to make sure no harm will come to you") while twirling that pipe, the weapon that's laid such harm to Lithuania countless times in the past, is almost enough to make him lose his appetite. The knowledge that Russia is counting on him to cook now and will be... disappointed if Lithuania doesn't is the only thing that keeps him from backing out.

Russia stands at the doorway and Liet feels like a dog being let out of its kennel by its master. He just barely manages not to hang his head as he passes by Russia through the door, stopping suddenly and glancing towards him. "Ah... why don't we walk side-by-side?" he suggests, not quite wanting to walk in front of Russia, even if it is in a semi-public place. "That way you can lead me to the kitchen, since I don't know the way?"
