Anita watched the shifting emotions pass across Ken's face, suddenly awkward, feeling as if she was intruding on something too personal to be shown to a stranger. Whatever memories the apron held, they were clearly dear to the young man. After a moment of letting her gaze wander the nondescript room, she put her palm against the back of her neck and glanced back at the newcomer.
