It isn't like the dude was going to hurt them; Cas was pretty much harmless. Shutting his mouth in surprise as Kurt takes over the conversation to inform everyone exactly what an opera is - not that Dean cares, 'cause he'll never go to one - Dean raises an eyebrow.

At any moment, Cas might mojo out of the ballroom, and he has to go with him. He can't leave without him. He needs Cas.
