and the sun was on the rise [open]
Who: Martha Jones and OPEN
Where: All around Truffula Valley during the event
When: April 12th
Rating: PG
Summary: Martha's first event turns out to be a pleasant one, and she's ready to enjoy the sights while they last.
The Story: Going to sleep in a mansion and waking up in a tent is a shock, to say the least.
When Martha comes to that morning, not having been in this odd, mad place for even a week yet, she finds herself in a space that's similar to the room she'd chosen for herself in the mansion, but the flimsy walls and roof make it clear that she's been transported into some kind of bizarre camping trip. The inside of the tent itself is similar enough to the room she'd had, and the closet has even remained. That's a relief, at least. She's already awfully fond of those closets.
After getting her bearings, Martha pokes her head out and finds before her an ocean of color and brightness. Not that Wonderland itself had been dark, but this puts the previous scenery to shame. This must be one of the events that she was told about, but other than a change in their surroundings, everything seems surprisingly calm.
That's bound to change soon enough. Martha knows the pattern well by now. Everything's brilliant and wonderful at first, it's all new sights and sounds, and then something goes wrong. Then again, that had been the whole point of traveling with the Doctor -- to fix things, to set them right.
Either way, her adventurous nature means that there's no way she can't explore a bit, and so she starts moving through the transformed area. She spots some odd animals skittering around and she can't help but smile. They are rather cute...
