"Better than just eating on a plain table," Owen agrees as he helps himself to bacon as well. "Hold on-" He gets up for a moment and takes the vase of flowers from Clara's bedside table, placing it in the middle of the table they're eating on. "There. The finishing touch." He grins proudly at her. This is quite possibly the strangest date he's ever had, but he rather likes it, even if he is eating bacon in a girl's bedroom.

"We could make a habit of it, if you like. I mean, you said you did this every week back home." Owen shrugs; breakfast for dinner isn't precisely his thing, but he certainly doesn't mind it at all, especially not with Clara.
