"Something very much like that, actually," Evelyn replies frankly, unbuckling her seatbelt and fiddling with the car door for a moment before figuring out how to open it. Stepping out, she's frightfully happy to be out of the metal deathtrap. Jonathan insists that they're the way of the future - apparently they are, damn him -but Evie can't say she's thrilled about the idea.
"Do you remember that mummy I told you about?"
She doesn't wait for an affirmation.
"Someone's discovered out a way to bring him back, so...he's here. Wreaking havoc. He-" she pauses, taking a deep breath. "He kidnapped my son."
