Lacrosse

To say that Susan excelled at field sports would be similar to saying that she excelled at sword-fighting. She was very effective when either came up, but it wasn't due to any particular nuance or artful bit of training. Susan was the worst sort of person, the kind who had talent, and her talent came into play during any sort of activity involving either farm implements or stick that were a meter or more in length. She could wield anything in that (specific) category with deadly precision, regardless of how much she practiced, but she had found that she loved Lacrosse.

There was just something intensely satisfying about lobbing a ball as hard as you could at other people. (It was probably the reflexive cringing.)

So, after a good few stretches, Susan broke into the equipment she'd pried out of the Closet and had started doing drills. Without anyone to drill with, she'd settled for lobbing the ball high into the air and moving (or dashing) to catch it before it hit the grass. She'd set up a goal by her bag, but, given the fact that the ball was in no danger of hitting the ground, regardless of how high she threw it, why she'd bothered was up for debate.
