[After a near death experience with... Something or other, he'd rather not think about it (and I haven't decided what it's gonna be, whoops), thanks, he'll start to wonder what would happen if he just up and died in these tunnels- more specifically, what his family would think if he died in one of these tunnels and never made it back home. He'll then come to the conclusion that in all likelihood they wouldn't even notice (for a few years, anyway...) at which point the actual question will become: what did he do to cause that? As in, which of his many fuck-ups was the fuckup?? Deep questions for the five seconds his mind isn't otherwise occupied with variations on a theme: trying not to die.]
