Toothless makes a pleased noise, licking the jerky out of Souji's hand with a surprisingly slimey and agile tongue. He chews the jerky well before swallowing, making the most of it. Food's scarce down here, and dragons eat a lot when they can. He looks back up at the young Viking — not expectantly, but curiously. He seems to be taking in Souji's injuries, sniffing at them in concern.
