"Not everyone here is dead, but-- I am. Except in this place, I'm as alive as anyone else." She still wasn't sure how that worked, but that seemed to be the case. She needed to sleep and eat and look after herself the same as anyone else. Same went for Ellen, and the same went for Tom -- if he was, indeed, dead. They still weren't sure on that front.
