[ It's not that Scott is purposely pushing himself to every limit he has - it's that he forgets he even has limits until they hit him like a truck, right through both of his lungs unexpectedly. Running sucks. He used to run miles to get to Allison's house, and could actually keep up in lacrosse, and could hold his weight against fights with other werewolves.
Now he can barely run down a hallway without needing a break. It would be easier if he could just get some fresh air-
He hates relying on Isaac, hates making him do all the difficult work while Scott sits on the sidelines and tries to regulate his breathing. He probably wouldn't notice a zombie even if one popped up - thankfully, one doesn't, but he almost thinks Isaac is one when he approaches, with how blurry Scott's vision is. ]
I- I'm - [ He's heaving, gasping for air that won't fill him up, like there's not nearly enough oxygen in the world for the type of inhale he's looking for. He tries to breathe, he tries to, but winds up reaching out to grab a hold around Isaac's shirt instead, twisting it like that'll explain what he's trying to say here. ] - so-rry.
