Dean from Adam's time might press his point, might really fight to make sure Adam understands everything- the future, how he's valued, how it's important that he be the kind of man is mother would be proud of, how he's sorry. This one, though, this one doesn't particularly care. He's been dodging people from the past ever since he arrived here, and the only reason Adam was a temporary exception was that he didn't particularly pull at any sensitive heartstrings or demand answers that Dean wasn't really interested in giving.
