Hey, he's not exactly thrilled about it either. If he had his way he would have gone home long before now.
He looks sympathetic though. He really does wish he had better news for her, or good answers about why she can't remember meeting him when he remembers meeting her.
"Well, apparently no one does," he says, shifting his weight casually from one foot to the other. "If this place lets you go and it doesn't bring you back right away, you forget all about it. You go home to exactly whenever you were and it's like the whole thing never happened."
It's frustrating to have to deliver that news though. He wants to remember everything he's learned, possibly more than anyone else in the mansion.
