He shakes his head. He wants to laugh, but it's not actually funny at all, so it just comes out as a small puff of air.

"I wish," he says. "I'd have been out of here ages ago if that were the case."

That sounds so defeated though, and James doesn't seem to like that, so he changes his attitude a bit.

"Or, well. No one's figured out how to leave yet. But we will."
