[Yeah, remind him to apologize later, Adam. He never thought choosing a room so far down the hall would be such a bad idea. He knew too little when he first arrived...]

I don't know, I was just sort of wandering through the place on my first day here, and by the time I reached the room, I was exhausted. Decided to take it because it was convenient at the time.

[But hardly convenient now, obviously. Oh well. He'll heave apologies later when they're not trying to keep themselves alive and out of the stone hands of those creepy angels.

Thankfully, it doesn't take too much longer to get there, and Wash supposes they've done a decent job of not blinking since they haven't run across another angel yet. Keeping his gaze down his side of the hallway, he sidesteps toward the door to room 619 and reaches for the handle. Only as he pushes the door open does his shift his eyes to peer inside, to make sure they're safe if they go in. The only thing moving inside is Apricot the kitten, who looks up from where she's sleeping on the bed upon hearing the door open.]

We're clear. [Looking to Adam very briefly, he waves his hand in a gesture telling him to get inside.] You first.

[And with that out of the way, he takes to watching both ends of the halls to the best of his ability. The longer they can keep the things away from their relative location, the better off they'll be.]
