Souji's not in crisis so far, but he's a bit puzzled. As he thinks back over some of the things that have happened back home in the past year, his bemusement turns to an mix of embarrassment and powerful curiosity. There is so much that he really would rather people outside of his circle of friends weren't privy to, but on the other hand, he wants to know if the things he did were the best options.

Of course, a bit of skepticism does worm its way in, so as a bit of a test, he asks, "Then you know what made him do it?"
