Jo had been wiping down the other end of the counter when she overheard him, sending him a wry smile from across the bar to show her sympathy. Even now, at one of her lowest points, she wasn't sure she subscribed to that school of thought. Setting her towel down, she makes her way towards where Bigby is seated, hand propped against her hip.
"I don't know. Sometimes old dogs can surprise you." She sounds tired, like another person with way too much on their minds, but she manages to force a little bit of cheer, just for a moment. "What can I get you?"
