Who: Shadow [
chaoscontroller] and OPEN
Where: Everywhere ever
When: August 12th
Rating: PG? will change if needed
Summary: Shadow is one curious little hedgehog that just arrived to Wonderland.
The Story:
Everything felt just, so... surreal—was it even the word he was looking for?
Not everyday one had the chance to save an entire planet, he came to realize... Burning every single fleck of his own energy in order to make this miracle work was one of the easiest decisions he had ever made during his short life, and one that felt incredibly rewarding at that. Not that he didn't care about himself and his safety, but when something bigger had been at stake, the choice to give his everything was easy. It had been the reason why he was brought into this world, wasn't it? To give humanity a chance.
"Maria... this is what you wanted, right? This is my promise I made to you..."
Then everything went black.
For a few moments at least.
There was no pain, there was simply nothing of what he had been expecting. It wasn't until a very confused Shadow opened his eyes again and sat up, that he found himself in a rather unknown place like none he had ever seen before. Heaven, or Hell, or somewhere in the middle, probably. In all truth, he had never believed in any of those places, but common knowledge was telling him it had to be some sort of afterlife... There was no way he could have survived falling from space and into the Earth after all, but there wasn't even a hole in the ceiling that he could have caused. No, this was a complete different realm, as far as he was concerned.
And if it wasn't, then, whoever lived there had real narcissistic issues... What was up with all the mirrors?
Curiosity took over, making the hedgehog pad towards one of the many reflecting surfaces once he got back on his feet. His reflection merely stared back at him, mimicking every feature, every blink and every flick of ears that Shadow made to perfection. Then he noticed he was missing one of the rings on his wrists... Maybe he dropped it? Ah, he should look for it. If only Shadow had noticed how his mirror self smiled at him once he turned away to try to find where he was, things would have been rather different...
~
Soon, Shadow found himself roaming around the place. Sometimes he'd let his nose guide him (was that a kitchen?) or he'd simply turn left or right without thinking much where he was going... (ah, the garden was actually beautiful... LET'S STAKE AT THE SPEED OF SOUND AROUND IT!) he was after all, trying to get his bearings, (aw yeah! let's grind on that huge handrail!) and find his inhibitor ring (defeating gravity and skating upwards to the roof of the mansion happened everyday, right?), but over all... yes, over all, he was looking for certain blonde...
If in the way, he found someone else well... it could be helpful. He could not possibly be the only soul around, could he?
