It's only been several hours since the Doctor died, but thankfully, the time in between death and coming back as a ghost was rather short. No terrifying afterlife or hellish environments for him, thanks. Granted, floating around as a specter really isn't really that great either, but at least he's not human anymore and he's not deathly ill, so that qualifies as an improvement.

It's while he's floating around that he spots Kevin doing the same, and since he hasn't got anything better to do, he comes over to see if he can't strike up a bit of a conversation.

"Well, hello there. I see you're a ghost as well," he says with a hint of a smile. "Sorry you died, though. You doing alright otherwise?"
